Gordon St Garage

Miss soon-to-be-mother suggested Gordon Street Garage as our quick catch up spot for last Friday afternoon. Initial thought as I walked in – woah, this place is pretty big for a café!

WHAT WE ORDERED & THOUGHT

Miss soon-to-be-mother and I just ordered a coffee each since we both already had lunch.

I tend to alternate between soy and skim milk with my coffees. I’m indecisive like that! I think I like soy more? But some cafes have really fowl tasting soy milk so if I think the place looks a bit dodgy I’ll opt for skim milk. The soy capp here at Gordon Street was spot on! I like my beans on the chocolaty side and chocolaty is what I got 🙂

Miss Mexico ordered herself a pizza. She had been moving belonging and boxes all day so she was starving by the time we all met up. Miss Mexico is leaving us for good :'( Her and her husband are moving back to Norway…this is potentially our last catch up in Perth…NOOO!! I’ll come visit you in Norway. Promise!

The pizza looked really tasty. It looked like something I would enjoy as the dough isn’t too thick. I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of the pizza because I was late…oops. Thank you Cheentya (Miss soon-to-be-mother) for the piccie!

FINAL THOUGHTS

Gordon St has a super cool vibe to it. It reminds me of Bread in Common, only smaller. Attentive service, delicious coffee, and stylish decor are all positives in my books! I’m going to have to drag some friends back so I can try the food!
